PROTECTION AGAINST GAS DANGER OF AIR RAIDS PRECAUTIONS IN BRITAIN' [ British Official Wirelees,] Received Dec. 19, 5.5 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 17. Referring to the precautionary measures for the protection of the public against air raids, Wing-Com-mander Hadsoll, Inspector-General, states that gas masks for all are being accumulated throughout the country. Twenty million have been canned like fruit to preserve the rubber, but samples are being introduced lo households for fitting and testing. The masks give complete protection against any type of gas. Wing-Commander Hadsoll also stated that the Government proposed to augment lhe fire-fighting apparatus all over the country.
