WANGANUI CLUB RESULTS OF STROKE MATCH The winner of the stroke match play at Belmont on Saturday was F. G. Beaven, who returned a card of 79-9—70. Players found conditions more to their liking this week-end and several good scores were returned, as follow:

Although good progress has been made in the Summer Cup there arc still several matches unplayed which should have been completed by the week-end. Those concerned should see that, their matches are played off before the holidays. The recent rain has freshened lhe course up considerably and lhe fairways and greens have now recovered from the bareness caused by the dry spell of several weeks ago. Playing conditions arc splendid and the course should attract many visitors during the holiday period. SEAFIELD CLUE YOUNG TROVHY COMPETITION.
