THE SPIRIT OF THE SEASON U'T'HAT Christmas feeling”—we all have it. The grown-ups and the | children alike are full of the spirit of Christmas. It is in the air; it is in our hearts —a buoyancy of spirit, a feeling of holiday, a joy of living. No matter what troubles we have had all the rest of the year, we have put them behind us, and are out to enjoy ourselves during this festive season. Let carping care begone; let joy be unrestrained. As we go about our Christmas shopping, rubbing shoulders with our friends, bumping into one another in the streets, with a “How d’ y’ do” and "Compliments of the season, we feel that it is good to be alive at this sunny time. The Christmas sunshine of New Zealand is something to be thankful for.
