SUNDAY EXCURSION The attention of our readers is directed to an advertisement appearing in this issue regarding the running of an excursion train from New Plymouth to Wanganui on Sunday, December 26. The usual cheap return Sunday fares have been arranged and, given a fine day, this excursion should be I a very popular one. PALMERSTON NORTH RAC ES Particulars of train arrangements and cheap fares in connection with the races at Palmerston North on December 27, 28 and 30 are advertised in this issue.
