CLEARING SAI.E BULLS-TURAKINA ROAD The New Zealand Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report a very successful sale on account of Mrs. J. A. Saveli. The cows were exceptionally well bred and came forward in excellent condition. We quote:— Grade Jerseys in profit, 17 15s to £9 2s 6d; others, £4 10s to £5 15s; best pedigree cows, 16i to 17 guineas; others, from 9 to 10 guineas; lower testing cows, 6 to 81 guineas; yearling pedigree heifers, 41 to 53 guineas; grade yearlings, £4 5s to £4 Ils; bull calves, 2i to 3i guineas; six-year mare, £33 10s; sows to farrow, 42s 6d to 31 guineas; porkers, 31s; weaners, 17s 6d; engine, £lO 15s; pump, £6; harness and sundries all brought satisfactory prices.

THE FEILDING SAI.E I Per Press Association. J FEILDING, Dec. 17. A considerably heavier yarding at Feilding to-day met with a bright sale although prices showed little change. Run cattle were heavily oversupplied with the result that there was a large percentage of passings. Store sheep were a shade better in value. Fat cattle declined. Range of prices:— Fat Sheep—Hoggets, 23s 6d to 29s 3d; wethers, 23s to 25s Id; ewes, 18s to 24s 6d; two-tooths, 23s to 265. Store Sheep.—Two-tooth wethers, 19s 6d to 24s 2d; do., ewes, 23s to 335; b.f. 2-tooths, 18s lid to 21s lOd; ewe; and lambs, 15s. Store Cattle.—3-year steers, £8 13s to £lO 10s; 2-year P.A. do., £8 to £9; 2-year Red Poll do., £7; P.A. heifers, £5 19s to £7 9s; yearling P.A. steers, £5 16s; cows and calves, £6 2s to £6 Ils; yearling Jersey heifers, £3 to £5 Is; empty cows, £2 10s to £4 2s 6d; cattle cows, £5 10s to £7 10s; heifers, £5 Ils to £8 ss; Jersey steers, £8 ss; Hereford do., £lO ss.

Dairy Cattle.—Springing cows, £4 10s to £8; do. heifers, £3 10s to £6 2s 6d; cows in milk, £6 to £7.
