PLUNKET SHOP DAY The Waverley branch of the Plunket Society held a most successful "shop day” in the Plunket Rooms grounds, when the proceeds realised approximately £47. The stallholders were as follows: Produce, Mesdames Hunt, Jeffries and Brown; cake, Mesdames J. Currie, J. J. Johnston, Shearman, Linahan and Harden; sweets, Mesdames Boyne, Graves and J. Stewart. There were several competitions, the winners being: Cake, Mr N. Bromiley; dinner, Mrs Linehan; doll, Mr L. Paton; chocolates, Mr D. Hammond. WAV EKLEY CONVENT EXAMINATION RESULTS Advice has been received from the National Business College, Sydney, ’.hat the following are the results of :he November commercial examina■Jon:— Elementary Grade Typewriting.— Adaline Aiken, 90 per cent.; Lorraine Thomason, 88 per cent. Elementary Grade Shorthand. — Lorraine Thomason, 87 per cent. Elementary Grade Bookkeeping.— Adaline Aiken, 90 per cent.; Lorraine Thomason, 100 per cent.
