BULLS
SCHOOL CONCERT The Town Hall was crowded on Thursday evening, when pupils ol Bulls School staged their annual concert, and the finished manner in which the little ones went through their parts reflected great credit on their tutors. Mr. F. C. Jurgens, chairman of the school committee, thanked patrons, and paid tributes to Mrs. Eyles and members of the teaching staff for their fine work in training the children. The programme, each item of which was warmly received, was as follows:—Chorus, "Our Holiday”; ‘‘The Toymaker’s Dream,” Primer IV and Standard I; drill, boys of Standards IV and VI; nursery pageant, primers; recitation, J. Shepherd; "Dr. Quack”; “Father Christmas,” M. Shepherd; "Children of Other Lands”; “Daffodowndill,” FayEdwards; “Brownie," H. Meads; “To a Miniature.” Keith Bailey and chorus; recitation, L. Bromley; "Brer Rabbit,” Priemr IV and Standard I; recitation, S. Coleman; “Fairy Play,” Standards II and III; “Wedding of the Painted Doll”; recitation, C. Vile; “Jumble Sale,” Standard IV and VI; recitation, A. Neale and D. Briggs; “Snowtime Boy's”; recitation, Elsie Meads; “The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe,” Primer IV and Standard I; recitation, V. Homes; "The Three Bears,” primers; drill', girls of Standards IV to VI; "Christmas Song”; and “God Save The Kiri" ” BAND CONCERT This (Saturday) evening khe Wanganui Garrison Band will give an open air concert in front of the Bulls post office, and there is sure to be a great crowd to hear this talented combination of musicians. The coloured lights will be turned on and a special picture programme will be screened.
