GOLDEN TOMATOES
Cut sufficient tomatoes into thiokish slices. Make a batter and season wit hsalt and pepper. Dip each slice in the batter, and fry until they are a light golden brown. When they have been drained, the tomatoes are ready. To make a more sustaining meal, serve with poached eggs.
