CLAIM FOR LAND TAKEN FOR AERODROME. T Per Press Association. 1 NE WPLYMOUTH, Nov. 17. Compensation amounting to £9454 lor land taken under the Public
Works Act for extensions to the New Plymouth aerodrome and for remain- < ing land injuriously affected by the severance was granted by a majority decision in the Supreme Court to-day to Mrs. R. L. Barclay. The compensation is to be paid by ’ the New Plymouth Borough Council, from which Mrs. Barcley, former owner of the land, claimed £12,018. jThe costs of the inquiry, £lOO are to
be paid by the Borough Council, with expenses to be ascertained and fees for two assessors at £47 5s each. The assessor for the Borough Council dissented from the decision.
