HAWKE’S BAY DAILY MAIL APPOINTMENT OF EDITOR [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Nov. 17. Mr C. H. Williams, chief of staff ot the Christchurch Press for the past two years, has been appointed editor of the Hawke's Bay Daily Mail, which is to commence publication in Hastings early next year. Mr Williams has been a member of the literary staff of the Press for nine years and prior to that was associated with several North Island provincial journals.
