WANGANUI ASSOCIATION JUNIOR COMPETITION Following are results in junior matches played by the Wanganui Cricket Association on Saturday:— Marist A v. Collegiate A. College made the tidy scores of 152, due manly to the good innings ol Quilliam (32) and Hockin (30), Croli (five for 48) and S. Wallace (three for 31) being the successlul Marist bowlers. In their second innings Marist were fortunate in staving ou defeat, having nine wickets down for 54 at tne bell, only three batsmen reaching double figures. The result was a uraw. Accurate bowling by Marist dismissed a strong Aramoho batting slue for the moderate total of 61 runs in their first innings, the oniy batsmen to reach double figures being R. Timbs (14). Marist replied with a total of 248, mainly due to a chanceless display by J. O'Grady, who compiled 106 (retired). Marist won on the lirst innings by 187 runs. Scores were:— (Aramoho.)
