FOR NEXT OLYMPIAD

UNIQUE FRENCH SEARCH NATIVE ATHLETES SOUGHT. Received Nov. 7, 7.75 p.m. PARIS, Nov. 6. Three members of the executive of the French Athletic Federation, financed by the Ministry of Colonies and the sporting paper L’Auto, are going to Senegal on December 3 on a unique mission in search of native athletes for the next Olympiad. The mission has been prompted by the American negro runners’ successes and the reports of astonishing feats by Senegal Maraboners. Some are seven feet in height and are able to do a 26ft. leap across the canals.
