HIGH SPEED ROUND CORNER COMMENT BY MAGISTRATE HAMILTON, Oct. 27. “Travelling at a high rate of speed round a corner on the wrong side ot the road is a highly dangerous practice,” said Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Hamilton Police Court to-day, when Ronald Dean, a farm hand, ot Tauranga, admitted a charge of dangerous driving. A traffic inspector, F. C. J. Cook. stated that when seven miles out ot Hamilton, defendant turned a corner on the wrong side at 60 miles an hour, and jjvhen approaching Hamilton he reached 70 miles an hour. Defendant was fined £3, and his driving licence was suspended until December 1 next.
