TAWHERO CLUB LABOUR DAY MEDAL ROUND CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL ROUNDS On Labour Day members of the Tawhero Golf Club played a medal round, which resulted in a win for Mrs Haggle in the ladies’ section, and for A. Jordan in the men’s section. On Saturday the finals of the ladies and men’s club championships will be played. The men will play the final round for the junior and intermediate handicap cups, and the ladies will play the final round for the Lawrence Cup. Following is the draw:— Ladies’ Championship. Sparks v. scorer. CASTLECLIFF LADIES’ CLUB BOGEY MATCH TO-DAY The Castlecliff Ladies’ Golf Club will play a bogey match to-day and on Saturday. Players will be paired at the clubhouse. The senior championship final is to be played this week-end. WANGANUI LADIES’ CLUB BOGEY MATCH PLAYED YESTERDAY’S RESULTS The bogey match played by the Wanganui Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday resulted as follows: — Seniors. Mrs Cook, 3 down. WANGANU: CLUB BOGEY MATCH SATURDAY FINAL OFFICIAL MATCH The final official match of the Wanganui Golf Club’s 1937 season will be played at the Belmont links on Saturday. This will be the last match to count for the eclectic competition and the points competition for the One Tree Hill Cup. As manyplayers were away at tournaments during the Labour Day week-end the time-sheet was not posted on the club notice board, but players may book their times by ringing the clubhouse. In the points competition any one of three players can win in Saturday’s match. M. Hogben is in the lead with 20 2-3 points, H. R. Dix second with 17 2-3 and T. O. Cave third with 17 points. With six points for first, four for second and two fot ' third, the result will depend on how the three players score on Saturday.
