BELGIAN SENSATION KILLED WITH CARVING KNIFE. BRUSSELS, Oct. 25. A sensation has been caused by the news that General Etienne, a director of the Goldzieher and Penso Bank, was found dead with two wounds near the heart, caused by a carving knife. Several of the bank’s officials are at present before the Correctional Court. Recent debates in Parliament showed the prominent part played by General Etienne in financial affairs, and it is understood that proceedings against him were pending.
