HARRIERS
MARTON CLUB BULLS-TO-MARTON RACE LAST EVENT OF SEASON. On Saturday next the Marton Harrier Club is to hold the annual Bulls-to-Marton road race, a distance of 10 miles. This is the closing race for the Marton Club for the season. A number of members of the Wanganui Harrier Club are travelling to compete in the race and the majority will stay to the dance to be held in the evening. Handicaps for the race will probably be completed to-day and will appear in to-morrow’s Chronicle.
