BOOT INDUSTRY
GOVERNMENT POLICY STATEMENT TO BE MADE [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, Oct. 12. Mr Anderton, M.P., who had been criticised by the Auckland boot manufacturers for his alleged remarks in Parliament regarding the state of tne boot industry, said to-day that the Government was fully aware of the position and a statement regarding its policy would be made in a fortnights time by the Hon. W. Nash.
