FOR EMPIRE GAMES TEN OF SIXTEEN NAMED Received Oct. 12, 7.5 p.m. LONDON. Oct. 12. The Daily Telegraph says that ten athletes, among whom are three Amateur Athletic Association champions, have so far accepted invitations to join the English team for the British Empire Games, which is expected to comprise sixteen. The} are: C. B. Holmes, K, J. Richardson (100 and 200 yards); K. S. Duncan (100 yards and long jump); W. Roberts, F. Handley and B. McCabe (half-mile); B. Eccles (mile); P. Ward (mile and three miles); L. Weatherall (3 and 6 miles); A. Norris (marathon).
