SIR OSWALD MOSLEY CROWD ATTACKS FASCISTS LIVERPOOL MEETING (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright)! LONDON, Oct. 10. The leader of the British Union <4 Fascists, Sir Oswald Mosley, wag knocked out at a Fascist open-aiy meeting at Liverpool. Hundreds of missiles were flung immediately he stood up to give an address through a loud-speaker on a van. A large stone hit him on the temple, and he fell semi-conscious. Mounted police charged the crowd, and several arrests were maaw. Over twenty persons were injured by stones. The crowd tried to rush the van ol Mr. G. C. Balfour, director of the Fascists at Liverpool, who is in hospital with a head wound and an injured shoulder. He was stoned when speaking from the van before Sir Oswald Mosley’s arrival.
