BOOKMAKERS CAUGHT
RAID IN NEW PLYMOUTH I Per Press Association. J NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 11. Charged with carrying on bookmaking, Frederick Charles Hawke, John Edward Shore, and Francis James Patterson, arrested during a police raid on Saturday afternoon, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate s Court to-day. Sentence was postponed.
