VESUVIUS IN ERUPTION. Received Oct. 11, 11.5 p.m. NAPLES, Oct. 11. After several months’ quiscence, Vesuvius has erupted. Lava is flowing down the Valley of Hell and ashes are being flung into the skies. The roaring crater is heard for miles. Thus far there is no danger to the neighbouring villages.
