Another 550 acres, mainly woodlands in Hertfordshire, and riverside meadows in Surrey, are being added to the so-called green belt round London. At a mec\ing on Tuesday the London County Council will be recommended to make contributions totalling £12,000 towards the cost of acquiring th * land in question.
