REHANDICAPS FOR SATURDAY AMENDMENT OF WEIGHTS [ Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 20. The following rehandicaps have been declared for the Waipa Racing Club’s winter meting at Te Awamutu on Saturday:— Hack and Hunters’ Steeplechase.— Lucidus 71b. (making 11.3). Woodstock Stakes.—Day Wind 41b. (making 8.4). W. G. Park Steeplechase.—Lucidus 71b. (making 9.8). Orakau Hurdles.—Boughal 71b. (making 9.11). Hairini Hack Handicap.—Gay Rebel 61b. (making 9.11), Besiege 61b (making 9.7). Weights for the Arapuni Handicap were originally cast with the 7.7 minimum, whereas it should have been 8.0 The rules of racing state that at any meeting held on any day from June 1 in any year to August 31 in the next succeeding year inclusive the lowest weight to be carried in any flat race other than the principal flat race on each day of any meeting shall not be less than 8.0. The principal flat race at. the meeting is the Woodstock Stakes, which has a 7.7 minimum. •The weights have been amended accordingly as follows: ARAPUNI HANDICAP.
