Captain Clarke) arrived on Tuesday night from Port Chalmers. The vessel is expected to sail today for New Plymouth. Opua, Gisborne, and Auckland: thence June 19 to London, Avonmouth, Liverpool. Manchester and Glasgow. (Burgess and Co.). WESTMORELAND LATER. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Westmoreland (8339 tons) is expected in the Wanganui roadstead to-morrow from Gisborne. She will load frozen meat and dairy produce for Home markets, and is expected to sail on June 15 for Timaru and Bluff. From the last-named port, the Westmoreland i* scheduled to sail on June 18 for Southampton and London, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. (Johnston and Co.). THE HUNTINGDON. The Federal freighter Huntingdon, coming in ballast from Glasgow, is due at Wanganui on June 25 to commence loading. Her further ports are to be New Plymouth, Opua, Auckland. Tokomaru Bay. WAIMANA LEAVES LIVERPOOL The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that the Waimana left Liverpool on Tuesday morning for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due at Auckland on July 19 and here on July 28. AWATEA'S OVERHAUL The Union Company's trans-Taaman express I ner Awatea is at present undergoing an extensive overhaul and refit at Cockatoo Dockyard, Sydney. Last week the work of lengthening her funnels by nine feet, by the insertion of another section in each, was practically completed. A new gearing in her main propelling machinery, of an improved design recently evolved by her builders, VickersArmstrongs, Ltd., will be installed in the Awatea during her lay-up at Sydney.
