The Anchor Company’s coastal vessel Taupata discharged a cargo of Tarakohe cement at the Town Wharf yesterday, but was unable to sail for Wellington last night owing to stress of weather. Conditions were very storm last night and heavy seas were running on the bar. Rata Reported. After discharge at the Town Wharf, the vessel will sail for Wellington, Dunedin, Oamaru, T maru, Lyttelton and Picton. (Millward and Co.). HOLMDALE FOR SOUTH Bringing consignments of general merchandise from Dunedin and way ports, via Picton, Hoini and Company’s m.v. Holmdale (676 tons) is expected at Wanganui to-day. The vessel will discharge at the Town Wharf, after which she returns to Wellington and southern ports. (Holm and Co.). RATA TO-DAY Bringing coal and general cargo from Westport, via New Plymouth, the Anchor Collier Rata (974 tons) is expected at Wanganui tn-day. The vessel will sail for Westport after discharge. (Cock and Co.). THE KAPITI The coaetal motor-sh.’p Kapiti (249 tons) is expected at Wanganui to-morrow with general cargo from Wellington. THE STORM The Canterbury Company’s coastal steamer Storm (749 tons) is scheduled to load for Wanganui at Lyttelton to-day. and at Wellington on Thursday. PHOSPHATE CARGO The British steamer Beatus cleared Nauru Island on May 31 for New Plymouth and Wanganui. The vessel has a cargo of rock phosphate for Messrs. Kempthorne, Prosser and Company, and is expected at Castlecliff on June 15. (Mi 11 ward and Co.). HOMEBOATS DUE. (To Load in Roadstead.) WESTMORELAND THURSDAY The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Westmoreland (8339 tons) is expected Wanganui roadstead to-morrow morning from Gisborne. She will load frozen meat and dairy produce for Home markets, and is expected to sail on Saturday for Timaru and Bluff on Saturday. From the last-named port, the Westmoreland is scheduled to sail on June 18 for Southampton and London, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. (Johnston and Co.). TONGARIRO NEXT WEEK To load the W’anganui portion of her Homevpird cargo in the roadstead, the Federal freighter Tongariro (8719 tons. Captain Clarke) is due on Monday from New Plymouth. The vessel is expected to sail about May 17 for Opua, Gisborne, and Auckland; thence June 19 to London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. (Burgess and Co).

The Federal freighter Huntingdon, coming in ballast from Glasgow, is due at Wanganui on June 25 to commence loading. Her further ports are to be New Plymouth, Opua, Auckland, Tokomaru Bay, Napier and Wellington. She is expected there about July 15, and will sail finally on July 17 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. (Burgess and Co.). THE AUSTRALIA STAR. The Blue Star Line’s motor-ship Australia Star is due at New i’lymouth on June 25 from Australia and will subsequently load at Wanganui (June 29 to July 2), Wellington, Gisborne and Auckland.
