COMMONWEALTH STEEPLES MOONEE VALLEY RESULTS Received May 30, 7.5 p.m. MELBOURNE, May 30. At the Moonee Valley races yesterday, Triteleia, who is engaged in the Grand National with 10.3, won his fourth hurdle race in succession when he narrowly won the Federal Hurdle. Last year’s Grand National Steeple winner, Santa Casa, won the Commonwealth Steeple in brilliant style. Results:— Federal Hurdle. —Triteleia 10.12 (Maher) 1, Devonbrook 9.8 (Fullarton) 2, Marshland 10.1 (Regan) 3. Eight started. Neck; thre lengths. Time, 3.54. Commonwealth Steeplechase. Santa Casa 11.7 (Armsden) 1, Character 9.13 (Douglas) 2, Mont Argis 9.12 (McMahon) 3. Fourteen started. Six lengths; four lengths. Time, 4.48. Rebel Queen was unplaced in the Mount Alexander Handicap.
