WILL IT BE MAINTAINED? RUMOURS IN ENGLAND LONDON, May 27. The active intervention of exchange control in the past two days to maintain gold at the higher price has led to rumours that stabilisation is imminent. Rumours are simultaneously being circulated in England that America and Russia have arrived at an r.greement fur some form of limitation of Russian gold exports.
