KING GEORGE V MEMORIAL FUND
APPEAL TO BUSINESS COMMUNITY A strong appeal for support from I* ? business community for the King George V National Memorial Fund has been made by the president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce, Mr. M. G. C. McCaul, who writes as follows: — “The business community of New Zealand is noted for its generous re- ( sponse to appeals for help to all worthy objects. “In asking business men to support the King George V Memorial Fund, I do so in sure knowledge that it will present a double appeal to them. First, a desire worthily to commerorate their loyalty and affection for the late King George V, and, secondly, a wish to establish a memorial of such a nature as he w'ould approve.
