FAMILY MATCH HILUS 4. ND JONES BROTHERS. The annual pairs bowling match between the Willis and Jones brothers was played on the Wanganui Club’s green yesterday. It resulted in a win for the Willis Bros.’ team by a margin of three points, thus: Willis Bros. 20, v. Jones Bros. 17. Up to the 16th head the Willis Bros, had the better of the game, the board reading 19 to 9 in their favour. From that stage on Jones Bros, commenced to put on points. When the 21st head was started Jones Bros, required three to win. and this they lay at change-over. The skips made no alteration till Bert Willis, with his last bowl, drew in a beauty for shot, giving him victory. The contestants were: A. A. Willis and Bert Willis 20, v. A. W. Jones and F. I. Jones 17.
