Bulls School Committee met on Tuesday evening, the following being present: Messrs F. C. Jurgens, F. F. Ralfe, H. L. Richards, W. A. Sutherland, J. H. Ellery, L. V. Homes and the headmaster (Mr W. Eyles). Owing to infantile paralysis dangers, and to unsettled weather, it was decided to postpone the annual school picnic until later in the year. The school has been thoroughly disinfected. Itwas resolved to have the piano tuned, and to place a new top on the well, and to remove gorse on the boundary fence. Accounts passed for payment totalled £l5 6s 2d.
On Friday evening a successful dance and euchre party was held in Apa House under the auspices of the Parewanui Womens Institute, the Maori Mission, and the School Committee, the proceeds being donated to the house improvement fund. Delightful dance music was provided by Messrs D. Durie (Fcildingl anil Walter Hart. Winners at cards were Mrs M. D. Anderson and P. Governor.
