INTER-SCHOOLS’ MATCH PALMERSTON VISITORS WANGANUI TECHNICAL COLLEGE The annual cricket match between the Wanganui Technical College first .eleven and the Palmerston North Boys’ High School eleven was commenced yesterday morning on Cook’s Gardens. The visitors batted first and at the close of the day’s play were all out for 291 runs. Good scores were registered by J. Hunt (49), M. Miller (46), G. Rabone (48), T. Downes (32), R. Young (31), and N. Gunn (25). For Wanganui, McPhail was the most successful bowler, capturing four wickets for 60 runs.
