WANGANUI CLUB WEEK-END RESULTS Owing to the field-day at Dannevirke being postponed local greyhound owners did not, make the trip over the week-end. Racing was carried on as usual on the club’s course, Puriri Street, excellent racing being witnessed during the afternoon. The Dannevirke Club* will be over next week-end to test their dogs against the local dogs. The week-end results are as follow: Al Class, Club Trophy. First heat: Mrs F. H. McCartney’s Royal Fleet, 1; Mr E. J. Holly’s The Monk, 2; Mrs H. Ford’s Smoke Dellew, 3. Won by four lengths; three lengths. Second heat: Mr E. E. Holly’s Swagger Mick, 1; Mr F. H. McCartney's Flying Tackle, 2. Won by seven lengths. Final: Mrs F. H. McCartney’s Royal Fleet, 1; Mr E. J. Holly’s The Monk, 2; Mr F. H. McCartney’s Flying Tackle, 3, Mr E. E. Holly's Swagger Mick, 4. Won by one and a-nalf lengths; four lengths. A Class, Club Trophy. First heat: Miss M. Holly’s Wait and See, 1; Mr H. Higgs’ Movie Star, 2: Mr F. Hoskins’ Tukia, 3. Won by eight lengths; four lengths. Second heat: Mr E. E. Holly's Swagger Mick, 1; Mr F. Hoskins’ Silver Ring, 2; Mr J. Walsh’s Tiny, 3. Won by twelve lengths; one length. Final: Mr E. E.
