INCREASED WAGES
SHIPPING TALLY CLERKS AUSTRALIAN RULING Received Feb. 12, 11.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 12. Judge Beeby, in the Federal Arbitration Court, increased the wages of tally clerks employed by the shipping companies from £3 19s to £4 8s a week, while casuals were increased from 2s 6Jd to 2s 9d an hour. The award will operate for three yean from February 23.
