QUEEN OF SONG ' OWNERSHIP OF MARE [ Per Press Association. ] 1 DUNEDIN, Feb. 12. ! At a meeting of the committee of the Dunedin Jockey Club, held at Wingatui to-day before the running of I the Dunedin Cup, P. T. Hogan, when called upon under Rule 241, made a declaration that he was the sole owner of the mare Queen of Song, and that no other person or persons were interested, either directly or indirectly, in the horse or its stake earnings. Hogan undertook to furnish what proof he had that the declaration was true in every particular and the committee then adjourned till March to hear his evidence. RANGITIKEI RACING CLUB NOMINATIONS ON MONDAY The Rangitikei Racing Club’s autumn meeting to be held at Bulls • on Saturday, March 6, will again be :an attraction for Manawatu owners I and trainers, as well as for racegoers in the district. Once again this club offers substan- I tially increased prizemoney and its attempt to bring back to pre-slump levels is widely appreciated. The timehonoured Rangitikei Cup (11 miles) • carries a stake of £2OO, while £l5O has been apportioned the Bailey Memorial (6 furlongs). The other races on the programme are the Trial Plate, £BS, 6 furlongs), Handicap Hurdles (of £l2O, li miles), Ohakea Hack (of £IOO, 6 furlongs), Greatford Hack (of £IOO, one mile and a distance), and Farewell Hack (of £IOO, 7 furlongs).
