ANTARCTIC DISCOVERY \ OSLO, Feb. 10. Lars Christensen, the Norwegiai who is at present exploring in th< Antarctic, reports that the aviatoi Viggo Wideroee, has discovered another 9000-foot range of mountains, 26 degrees east and 71.30 degrees south. It was cabled yesterday that Wide- ' roee had discovered a range of moun- I tains whose highest peak is about 4500 ft. between the 35th and 40th degrees longitude. Wideroee dropped a Norwegian flag from the aeroplane when he was 38 degrees east, 69.30 degrees south, thereby assuming possession of the land on behalf of Norway. He also mapped the newlydiscovered land.
