CASTOR’S SPEEDY TRIP ARRIVAL AT ALEXANDRIA ALEXANDRIA, Feb. IG. The flying-boat Castor arrived a day before expected, after averaging 165 miles an hour non-stop from Marseilles. The Castor is one of the -new Empire machines and was on her maiden voyage to Alexandria in the Empire service, with passengers a ton of mails, and several boxes of bullion. She left Southampton and returned within five minutes. It was discovered that two sparking plugs were oiled up. The departure was postponed until 7 a.m. on Sunday.
