RETAIL LONDON PRICES What prices are consumers of New Zealand paying for meat in the Dominion? Comparison can be made with the following retail prices quitea for New Zealand lamb and mutton retailed in London during January, 1937. They are reported by the London manager of the New Zealand Meat Board and they represent a fair average of the prices quoted by the better-class shops in London for the best quality cf New Zealand lamb and mutton. The cuts and prices per lb are as follows:—New Zealand lamb: Legs, 12d; shoulders, lid; loins, lid; necks, 6d; breasts, 3d; forequarters, Sid; hindquarters, llid. New Zealand mutton Legs, 9d; shoulders, 8d; loms, 8d; necks, 4d; breasts, 2d.
