WOMAN PASSENGER

ENTRY TO AUSTRALIA REFUSED SYDNEY, Dec. 26. When the Niagara berthed this morning a woman travelling on a third-class ticket Irom Auckland was questioned by the immigration officials and, upon being found to have insufficient means of support, she was prohibited from landing. It is stated that the woman twice previously tried to enter Australia but on each occasion was discovered in the mid-Tasman as a stowaway.
