BONUS DIVIDEND OF NINEPENCE The directors of the British Tobacco Company (Australia), Ltd., have declared a bonus dividend of 9d a share, payable on January 29 to holders of ordinary shares on the company’s register on January 6. This bonus dividend is being paid out of special dividends declared by British Tobacco’s subsidiary companies from accumulated profits for past years. Last year the company paid four interim dividends on ordinary shares of 11 per cent., 12 per cent., 12 per cent., and 2 per cent., a total of 7 per cent.
