Herman (Mugsy) Taylor, Philadelphia promoter, announced the percentage calculation after a meeting of managers and promoters interested in staging a 12-round Washington’s birthday light between Braddock and the Brown Bomber.

Taylor announced ..after the meeting that he had raised 100,000 dollars £20,000) to turn over to Braddock's manager, Joe Gould, as “evidence of

good faith,” and said the match was “as good as made.”

Officials of the National Boxing Association, of which Jersey is a member, are said to vehemently oppose the bout unless it is billtd as an exhibition.

Attitude of the New York State Tthletic Commission will be made known later, when Joe Gould, manae*r of Braddock, will be questioned.
