COMMUNISM DENOUNCED
CATHOLIC PASTORAL “REMEDY WORSE THAN EVIL” LONDON, Dec. 13. A joint pastoral letter from the Hierachy of England and Wales was read in ail Roman Catholic churches. It states: “While protesting against the injustices of the present system of industrial capitalism, the Church condemns Communism, which is, a remedy worse than the evil. There can be no compromise between Catholicism and Communism.”
