POOR REWARD

N.Z. LOAN COMPANY SERVICES IN DEPRESSION Received Dec. 13, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 11. Increased taxation and wages and a reduction of working hours increase our costs by £20,000 to £30,000 a year, despite efforts to economise and improve efficiency.”
