TREATY CONDEMNED LONDON TIMES COMMENT LONDON, Nov. 26. In commending the Anglo-Egyptian Treaty, the Times notes that the provisions recognise the Suez Canal as an essential means of Empire communication and give Britain an assurance that this vital link will be protected I by a permanent alliance, while Australian and New Zealand statesmen ' have shown that they fully realise the value of the assurance in ensuring communications which mean so much to them.
