DEFEATED CANDIDATE SENT TO GAOL RECENT SLOGAN RECALLED Received Nov. 25, 9.5 U p.m. MONTREAL, Nov. 24. Edward de Patrick, who contested the mayoralty recently on the slogan "Shoot all criminals. Any man who runs loul of the law deserves to be shot,” was imprisoned to-day for two years for fraud. Thanking the Judge, he said that every dictator needed first-hand experience of the penal system.
