FIRE ON STEAMER
NINE TRAPPED IN HOLD BELIEVED TO BE DEAD Received Nov. 25, 11.30 p.m NEW YORK, Nov. 25. A message from New Orleans states that nine trapped iq a burning ship are feared to be dead. Firemen fought the flames for some hours and then sealed a hatch in which were six whites and three negroes and injectej steam and water.
