ATHLETIC < 1,1 B The annual meeting of the Athletic Club was held on Tuesday evening, and was very well attended. It was decided to hold the sports on January 22 next. The secretary was instructed to ob- | tain tenders for lhe booth. Messrs Kirkby and Bailey were appointed to arrange a putting competition. Side shows were left in lhe hands of Mr S. Dickinson, junr., to arrange. Those present. were appointed a grounds committee. Messrs Hamilton, junr., A. Davies and S. Reid were appointed to select trophies. The meeting closed with a hearty vote to the chair.
