It is proposed lo call for entrants for the scholraship, tho value of which | is approximately £35. ’The irj»‘.ruction I lo be given to those who enter will j comprise tuition both on lhe ground; and in the air by the Wanganui Ac i ] Club's pilot-instructor, who will be | the sole judge of the candidates. The I six entrants who show the greatest ] aptitude and natural ability will each 1 be given a further half-hour’s insfru - ] lion and from 1 his .number the whiner! will be selected. The winner of Hie Wanganui “Chronicle" Aviation Scholarship will receive free instruction from the I Wanganui Aero Club until such time , as he or she. as the case may be, ( qualities for an A licence. The win- I ner will also be given, free of charge, ] full membership privilege- of the Wanganui Aero Club until March 31. 1938, while the five remaining entrants will be granted free as or ate I membership until the same date.
