REVIEW OF NO\ EMBER ISSUE I The November issue of The Australian Journal, like previous issues, lis remarkable for the quantity and 'quality of its fiction. William HatI field's new short serial “Abandon Ship,” is proving both interesting and jcUciting and there is little doubt that it will be as popular as many of the longer novels written by this famous Australian author. Other contributors include Margaret Fane and Hilary Lofting, Rex Grayson, MyF.a Morris, John Guthrie (the outstanding New Zealand writer), Frank Walford, Helen Somers, Captain F. Rhodes, Elizabeth Powell and others. As usual, the feature pages are crammed full with interesting sections, including fashions, radio notes, cookery hints and recipes, knitting and needlework designs, dressmaking notes, paragraphs. and a section for the children. The price is only sixpence at all newsagents.
