TARANAKI VISITATION AVIATORS’ EXPERIENCES I Per Frees Association] NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 8. A thunder storm passed over Taranaki to-day, during which the wind switched completely round the compass. A short hail shower was followed by heavy rain and lightning, with loud peals of thunder which continued most of the afternoon. A New Plymouth Aero Club pilot, Mr. Reardon, had an unenviable experience in the hailstorm while flying near the aerodrome. His face was severely battered by hailstones of exceptional size. He made a safe landing. Mr. H. W. Lightband, another Aero Club pilot, when returning from Auckland, flew into the storm and was forced to land on the beach at Raglan. _
