WANGANUI CENTRE SATURDAY’S PLAY RESULTS OX VARIOUS GREENS. Ideal weather conditions prevailed for play at the various Wanganui Centre greens on Saturday and bowls enthusiasts were able to get through the various competition matches under excellent conditions. At the Wanganui green the Jubilee Full Rink Competition was commenced, and at the other greens full rink competitions were advanced. WANGANUI EASY CLUB In perfect bowling weather the second round of the Wanganui East Bowling Club's full rinks competition was played on Saturday afternoon, with the following results: McAfee, Tippins, McDougall, Raine 18, v. GONVILLE CLUB Gonville Club members were fortunate in having a perfect day or Saturday for the commencement ol the full rink competition, and as there was a large attendance and with a good drawing green the day was e very enjoyable one. During the afternoon tea adjourn' ment the president (Mr. Chenery; notified members that it was the intention to close entries for Saturday games at 1.45 p.m. sharp, thereby en abling the selection committee to ar range the teams and have play com menced by 2 p.m. It will, therefore be imperative that any member un able to be on the green by 1.45 p.m should notify the selection commit tee by telephone or otherwise, if hi wants his name included. Members are also reminded tha the Wednesday full rinks games wil commence as from November 11, plaj commencing at 6 p.m. sharp.
